We dream of closer ties between art and the communities that surround its production.
Éditions in Space is a platform that positions local art as a gateway to serendipity, connection, and inspiration. It began as a mapping initiative designed to enable location-based discovery of arts and culture. We currently offer three signature services: event activations by the Éditions Oracle; a subscription box that puts local art in homes; and workshops that connect artists and local residents. Join our network
Being part of the Editions in Space network keeps you up-to-date with our platform, particularly our new features and services. There will be several stages of implementation, geared towards enhancing the discovery of arts and culture at the neighbourhood scale.
We may occasionally use your location to collect data on overall artistic activity in your neighbourhood. In these cases, names and other identifiers will be anonymized.
We also test the platform features regularly, and rely on our artistic network to provide feedback on improvements.
Origin Story
“As an independent artist and curator, I’ve experienced the limitations of established channels for art promotion first-hand. My practice has evolved by presenting projects at unconventional venues and in novel formats. This platform is born out of my struggle to find a solution that connects audiences to art based on location.”
